1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the OneMovieTV mobile application and related services ("Application"). OneMovieTV is an entertainment guide that helps you discover, track, and interact with movies, TV shows, and related content.
The Application supports Sign in with Google, user accounts, cloud synchronization, user progression (including XP and Level systems), puzzle and quiz progress, achievements, daily streaks, favorites and watchlist synchronization, analytics, crash reporting, and advertising. By using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
2. Information Collection
We collect information only when necessary to provide and improve the Application. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent where required, and we inform you of the purpose of collection. Depending on how you use the Application, we may collect the following types of information:
Account Information
When you create or sign in to an account, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Profile picture (when provided by Google)
- Authentication provider identifier
- Internal user identifier
This information is used for:
- Account creation
- Authentication
- Cloud synchronization
- Account recovery
Gameplay and Progress Information
To support cloud synchronization and a consistent experience across devices, the Application stores:
- Experience (XP)
- Player Level
- Achievements
- Daily Streak
- Puzzle statistics
- Quiz statistics
- Best records
- Favorites
- Watchlist
- Settings
This information is used to:
- Synchronize progress across devices
- Improve user experience
- Restore progress after reinstalling the Application
Analytics
We use analytics services to collect anonymous or aggregated information, which may include app usage, screen views, feature usage, session duration, device information, and performance metrics. This information is used to improve the Application, fix issues, and understand how features are used.
Crash Reporting
The Application may collect crash reports and diagnostic information to help identify and resolve stability issues. This data is used solely to improve application reliability and performance.
Advertising
The Application displays advertisements through third-party advertising SDKs. These services may collect limited information required to display ads, such as device identifiers and ad interaction data, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
3. Use of Information
The information we collect is used to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
- Synchronize gameplay progress, favorites, watchlists, and settings across devices
- Provide XP, Level, achievement, streak, puzzle, and quiz features
- Deliver movie and TV show content and personalized recommendations
- Improve the Application and fix technical issues
- Understand feature usage through analytics
- Monitor and improve application stability through crash reporting
- Display advertisements within the Application
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personally identifying information publicly, except when required by law or when necessary to operate the Application through trusted service providers.
The Application uses the following third-party services:
- Google Sign-In — authentication
- Firebase Authentication — account management and authentication
- Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash and stability reporting
- Google AdMob — advertising
- TMDB API — movie and TV show metadata and content information
These providers process data on our behalf and in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services for more information about their data practices.
5. Security
We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- HTTPS/TLS encrypted communication between the Application and our servers
- Secure authentication tokens for account access
- Secure cloud storage for account and synchronization data
- Limited access to user information on a need-to-know basis
However, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We continuously work to maintain and improve our security practices.
6. Data Retention
Personal account information and associated gameplay progress are retained only while your account is active and for as long as necessary to provide the Application's services.
Analytics and crash report data may be retained according to the retention policies of the respective service providers (such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics).
When you delete your account, personal account information and associated data are permanently removed within a reasonable period, as described in the Account Deletion section.
7. User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data as described in the Account Deletion section
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your information
You are free to refuse to provide personal information; however, some features — such as account synchronization, cloud progress, and personalized experiences — may not be available without an account.
8. Account Deletion
OneMovieTV supports Sign in with Google. Users may permanently delete their OneMovieTV account and associated data at any time.
To request account deletion, please contact privacy@jzj.app and include, whenever possible:
- Email address associated with your account
- Authentication provider (Google)
- Internal user identifier, if known
Account deletion permanently removes personal account information and all associated gameplay progress. Once verified, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- Personal account information (name, email, profile picture, and identifiers)
- Experience (XP)
- Player Level
- Achievements
- Puzzle progress
- Quiz progress
- Favorites
- Watchlist
- Daily streak
- Cloud synchronization data
- Account settings and preferences
Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account has been deleted, this data cannot be recovered.
Deleting your OneMovieTV account does not automatically delete your Google account. You must manage that account separately through the provider.
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days after verification.
9. Children's Privacy
OneMovieTV is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@jzj.app so that we can take appropriate action, including deletion of the information.
10. External Links
The Application and our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us, including streaming platforms and content providers. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
11. User Commitment
The user undertakes to make appropriate use of the content and information that OneMovieTV offers, including but not limited to:
A) Not engaging in activities that are illegal or contrary to good faith and public order;
B) Not disseminating propaganda or content of a racist, xenophobic, gambling-related nature, any type of illegal pornography, advocacy of terrorism, or content against human rights;
C) Not causing damage to the physical (hardware) and logical (software) systems of OneMovieTV, its suppliers, or third parties, or introducing or disseminating computer viruses or any other hardware or software systems capable of causing the aforementioned damage.
12. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the Application, legal requirements, or our data practices. We will notify users of significant changes through the Application or other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
